Our mission is to provide top-level fitness training, motivation, guidance, and education, personalized to each client’s goals, abilities, and needs. We are here to help you improve your overall fitness, get stronger, lose weight, but ultimately, to make a true, lasting lifestyle change.

We have a different outlook at Body Shop Fitness. Our functional approach to fitness training sets us apart from other exercise facilities. We look at the big picture and combine the best aspects of a gym and wellness center to embody this approach and redefine what a gym can be.

CHRIS AYDIN

“I aspire to empower individuals with confidence through strength to become more. I have been coaching and helping people become more since 2012. I have a B.S. in Biology with a minor in nutrition, and a M.S. in Exercise Science, with a concentration in strength and conditioning. I have worked with a variety of different demographics from youth through high school, young professionals and stay-at-home moms, to elite-level collegiate athletes and powerlifters.. 

 

Through a process of relationship building, trial and error, and communication, I tailor each client’s training, movement, and nutrition to help them become the best version of themselves. I am totally addicted to seeing others around me succeed.

When I am not training or coaching, you can find me weightlifting, outdoors, enjoying San Diego’s beer scene and just enjoying everything California has to offer.”

"Health, fitness, and wellness has become more than just something that echoes in my head but a priority that I care to have in my life. Even at a young age, I found fitness and exercise to be an outlet to however my life was going or even how that day itself was going. After studying at the University of South Florida, I found myself in the presence of a great friend and mentor that changed my direction in life. I realized that I wanted people to feel the way I felt after a workout not just outside but inside ourselves. If I could just help people see what they were truly capable of doing in the gym, they would see that they are untouchable outside of the gym as well. Fast forward to thirteen years later, one huge move across the country, another year and half of school, I am not proud to call myself not just a Personal Trainer but a specialist in many aspects across the health world. I look forward to being able to reach out and change as many lives as I can one step (up) at a time. Ha."

WILLIAN ALBA

Will has more than 15 years of experience as a Personal Trainer. He's helped hundreds of people to get stronger, leaner, more flexible and balanced, allowing them to move, look and feel better.

In 2015 Shirlley quit her job as a Pharmacist-Biochemist to start following her passion. Since then, she's using all her time and energy to become the best possible coach she can be.

She definitely practice what she preaches. You'll always see her around the gym, working out, with a big smile on her face. Shirlley strongly believes that fitness can - and should - be fun.

Shirlley has vast experience training groups and personal training clients, and more importantly, cares deeply for all her clients. She puts a lot of thought prescribing the training programs and is second to none correcting form and giving feedback. To top it off, she's tough and holds everyone accountable.

Jeff decided to pursue his love for fitness and made a career switch in 2019, leaving the fast food corporate world. "After years making people unhealthy, now I want to spend the rest of my time making people healthy".


Besides being a thoughtful and knowledgeable trainer, Jeff's a successful CrossFit athlete, constantly placing among the best in the world in his age division.

As a master’s athlete, he understands the importance of cardiorespiratory exercise, resistance training, mobility work and nutrition as it relates to longevity and living a healthy life.

BRENDA KRAMER

My love for fitness started at a young age - I’ve been an athlete my entire life and have always been diligent about staying healthy and active. I tap into that passion during every session with my clients. I have over 10 years of experience, working with a wide variety of clientele ranging from novice lifters to athletes, from adolescents to 80+ year olds, each with different goals and mindsets. My goal as a coach is to help you become the most confident version of yourself, using exercise as the means to find that inner strength. Training is more than just about sets and reps. It’s about the joy you feel when you walk out of our sessions, the sense of accomplishment and the progress along the way.
